Whoever told you that is just silly . They are air-to-air...there's nothing that leaks out of the intercoolers.....

I've had the same issue from day one.Mild oder. Slight fluid loss...19000 miles on my 2017. We tried pressure test , vacuum tests... I changed the coolant tank cap.. I just top off the tank every few months..

Definitely the rocker arm nuts... had the exact same noise.. Sounded like a popcorn popper LOL.. the new nut design was finalized at the end of 2019.. My 2017 was the first car to get the new nut design

You put the brass ball into one of the corner holes first and then the set screw behind it . The set screw drives the brass ball into the threads. The brass being softer will deform into the threads of the stainless steel shaft .. It seems to do the trick. I put a lot of miles since the repair...
