Come to think of it, now that there is no need for a clutch peddle, time for the manufacturers to think about the brake peddle designed to be used by the left foot.

Roketman, best to get adjusted to the demise of the manual transmission. It's antiquated technology that no manufacturer will put into any car with aspirations of being competitive with the rest of the performance market. That's just a fact.

^ I'm thinking Ford is trying to find the right balance between capitalizing on the "Heritage" of past GT's while looking forward to building a car that can stand on its own and set a similar standard. Using the term Heritage to describe the option of the Gulf paint scheme was looking backwards...

I get it but with the current value premium put on the Heritage paint schemes I'm guessing that's going to be the most ordered option. Heck, I could see a scenario where most '16 GT's are Gulf themed.

Actually I dont "know" that Gulf paint will be an option. Maybe that is something Ford decides should be left to the originals raced with that sponsors support and those with the 05's and 06's. My guess, and clearly it's just that, is Ford intends to win LeMans with this new beast and it may...
