I agree with the rest of the comments on this thread. Also one other extra additional help is to use dot 5.1 fluid. It has a higher boiling point and collects less moisture. I only use dot 5.1 on all GT services. Joe

Not sure if we need to worry just yet. I lot of companies closed and out of business during covid and eventually ford did find new suppliers. It's not just in the Ford GT parts but in other Ford line up as well. Joe

Hello Brian, my parts manager told me you had called. As for the removal and install......its about the same. The lithium ion batteries are light and not as heavy as a lead acid battery. Joe

The soft start module allows only the necessary amount of amperage to the starter. If it had full battery amperage all the time to the starter it may cause starter to overheat and/or damage to the starter. The lithium ion battery stores a lot of energy. Joe
