Help, loose bolts and grease in engine bay

Mark06GT as everyone said I am afraid that the recall was not done correctly. Make sure that those bolts are replaced not just rettighed. I would want a complete new kit used on both sides. If there is a problem with one side there may be a problem with both. Now as far as the grease. Depending...

    Dry Washing the GT

I would not use cotton bath towels on anything. Use only microfiber towels on the paint.

I may be able to help you jaxgt. Send me a pm if you have not found a spot yet. The car would be in a secure, in door of course, garage. It would be in the city of Sunrise. Very close to Ft Lauderdale. Shouldn't be a problem, Have had Gts in for longer then that before.

    Clunk?

A thud or deep clunk with first start is normal. Like I said it is the liqued freon being forced out of the manifold line. If it is just a click sound when the air is first turned on that is the sound of the compresor clutch being pulled in to the pully. Also normal. If you are hearing noise...

    Clunk?

My guess would be a/c also, but you said it was doing it with the a/c off as well. Double check and make sure it is with the a/c off. What happens is liquid freon will fill in the a/c manifold line on the outlet side of the a/c compresor. when the compresor is first started after sitting for a...
