I stand corrected. My V1 does indeed power off...but after a long time...seems like about 20 mins. I guess I was expecting it to power off when the lights go off.

More downforce == slower top end speed....and therefore creates a need and justification to upgrade to a Whipple.

I got mine replaced and painted under warranty. If I recall, once you remove the fasteners that holds that piece in place, it ruins the bolts and you'll end up having to replace the entire piece. Someone should make a CF piece..and offer a version that is a little taller than stock.

The final system ended up consisting of - McIntosh MSS530 mids and tweets, replacing the factory McIntosh speakers. The factory speakers looks like a rebadge from some other brand. - 3 X McIntosh MCC301M. These are 300W monoblocks. 1 powers the front left speakers, 1 powering the front...

Awhile back, I started my project to relocate the McIntosh subwoofer. I played around with several different locations, mounts, etc (ie http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12636). One thing lead to another and before I knew it.... I think I'm done :biggrin

Shadowman, Which ports in the mirror connector do you plug the yellow and black spades into? When I plug the cord yellow into the mirror green/12v, and the cord black into the mirror solid black/constant ground - the V1 is constantly on and never turns off. So I end up having to turn the V1...
