Good way to put it. Ceramic wont protect from chips. The PPF is essential. Ceramic over PPF is worth it. I've got both on my cars and they look showroom new.

Consider a ceramic coat +/i PPF on yours after the touch-up. I drive all my cars regularly and think its worth its weight in gold. It protects the paint from chips, makes it hydrophopic and gives it a freshly waxed/shiny appearance.

Finally getting my new 06 black with white stripes delivered in 3 days. Its getting Expel and will then be ready for the road. Hopefully Ill get a chance to drive it a little before snow sets in in earnest. I'm intestered in maybe doing a Hennessy upgrade over the winter while I cant drive it...
