Very nice tractor. That one will serve you well. I've got a 1941 2N. The 2N is the model between the older 9N and more modern 8N. You would think the model numbering would be the other way around.

The spinner wheel looks best to me, but I still like the BBS also. Has that 1960's look but an updated enough design to be perfect for the 05/06. Ron your Midnight Blue looks bitchin! Here is what I did with a set I got from Marv.

It's been a few months now using the Bridgestones on my 05, and unless they start making a Michelin Cup or something like them in the right sizes I would use nothing else but the Bridgestones. What a difference! As others have mentioned It is truly remarkable how little balance weight was...

Very sad to hear of this. I have a branch of my family tree that came here after WW2 from Romania. Lost everything, first the third reich, then the Soviets. Double whammy. This fine gentleman fully understood the value of what it means to be here. Again I am saddened to hear of his passing...

During Rally 10 this car was at the party at Camilos studio in Detroit. I had a convo with the then owner. He said it took a ton of man hours and expense to get that paint job like it is. A real PITA in his words but worth it. I think it's on the cover of the Rally 10 book.

The day will come when you'll say "I remember when I could buy cheap, an 05/06 for only 400K+" When they're all over 1 mil+ Its definitely not as buyers market!

Yes for sure but those are necessities. I understand why collector cars appreciate, and that's a good thing especially the 05/06 GT'S as they rightfully should. I've just never remember such a dramatic sharp increase like we are seeing now, all in just the past 6 months or so. Crazy at Mecum...
