Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

You were fortunate that was the case! Back in 2006, the marketing director for our largest local casino asked me to bring my GT to their annual car show...so I did. 'Turned out he had a 'podium'-status (sic), prominent parking spot reserved for the car to act as a 'draw' for 'J.Q. Public'...

End of the world - it‘s happening now

"an electric GT40" Some things are just inherently wrong... OTOH, Dodge has started airing 'teaser' commercials about its supposedly upcoming AWD, close to 900 h.p., EV "muscle car". That might be 'trick'...if one has a 'detached' concrete garage with an inferno-proof roof in which to keep it.

    Bugatti Bolide

'Word is they only made one and its 'sticker' was just under $19 mil: "— Bugatti only made one and it’s already been sold to a mystery buyer, who the company simply describes as “a Bugatti enthusiast.” (CNBC previously reported that the buyer was Ferdinand Piech, former chairman of Volkswagen...

Best all time Super Bowl commercial

Perhaps by cutting corners in a major way...or just hovering 'center-track' and simply following the GT with its camera from there.

Best all time Super Bowl commercial

That commercial was all I needed to see or know about the GT to convince me to buy mine. 'Had pretty much decided to buy a Ferrari 360 before I saw Ford's Superbowl commercial. That ad ended any desires I had harboured about buying a 360 on the spot. Upon my request, Ford sent me a copy of "The...

    Bernie and his GT

Okay...the Covid lock-down must be getting to me. Admittedly this is somewhat off-topic and being picky to a fault and I'll probably regret posting it, but, this bugs me: What IS the deal as regards wearing brown shoes with black/charcoal pants and socks and a grey sweater? Yeah, I know his...

Differences between is Mk I, II, III & IV ?

What HE said! In addition: Q #1 Short answer: 'Biggest diff was the MKI & MKIII were small block powered. The MKIII was the 'street version' of the GT40 MKI and had a longer rear deck for 'trunk' purposes. The MKII and MKIV were designed to accept the 427 FE. Q #2 Short answer: That's just...
