I've heard of a few Denver area forum guys who didn't make the cut (including myself), but has anyone heard if there's been any NFGT selectees in the Denver area, or Colorado? I'm hoping at least to be able to see one on the road someday.

For only a 2 lb savings makes me wonder if there's a partial metal skeleton hidden inside the spokes and rim. It's apparent in the pictures that at least the portion of the hub resting against the rotor is metal, I assume aluminum but maybe stainless steel to isolate the rotor heat better.

I've never been a big fan of the stripes, but I do like the looks of the wide-stripe version better than the ones now available. Maybe the wider version will become an option on the later year models.
