    Scary Yellow Engine Light On!

Ok, I have got the actual code(s) back from my tuner he states they are as follows:

    whipple 4.0

I def agree with you about it being hard to replicate the numbers achieved in the US mainly on dynojet gear. Mind you I am super keen to see some results off the new dyno dynamics that I believe it was hennesey posted about. So looking at your PDF, I've not seen a dyno computer automatically...

Who wants a Kip Ewing carbon fiber High Flow Air Filter Box?

I'm up for one too! More CF to add to the bill :wink

Yeah I'm also scratching my head. Why would they not give you RWHP figures? For a min I was excited because this was the first other 'outside US' comparison I've seen. However, it's hard to use without a RWHP figure.

    Scary Yellow Engine Light On!

No worries, I know he's more than keen for the feedback, just as I am. May take a little while till I can get the code itself as since my gal is currently 'whipple-less'. I don't know if my tuner knows the code off hand but I'll ask.

Ok my tuner has come back with the following comment:

    Scary Yellow Engine Light On!

Yeah no probs. The forum is always helpful like that. I can't expect us to know that much about a car like the GT working on our own over here. I have passed it on. If he doesn't get back to me via email, I'll ask him for his comments next time we speak.

    Scary Yellow Engine Light On!

Fair enough, but that is what my tuner reckons causes the light to come back on after resetting. He 's very conservative and wants to run my car a tad on the rich side whilst it still have relatively low miles (sub 2000 still). I'll put your thoughts back to him for comment and see what he says.

    Scary Yellow Engine Light On!

My scary yellow light has been on most of the time I've had a whipple. It result from a bit of richness in the tune, which seems to upset the computer slightly and throws up a code. I got sick of getting the tuner to clear it, as it would come back again usually with a few hours of driving...

    whipple 4.0

Does seem to have some similarities to the cobra issue. I had video of it doing it in a hard launch situation that I don't think I've got that any more. But I remember that run where it happened and it reminds me of what your saying, especially the 2-3 gear and lift off throttle part and it goes...

    whipple 4.0

Hey Fubar, sorry if you already explained it, but what kind of boost issue is it. May be relevant to us other soon to be 4.0er's. I had a really odd and frustrating issue a few years ago after I KB'ed my Cobra, it would sort of cut fuel after for a few moments when driving more aggressively...

    whipple 4.0

Remember our V-Power 98RON(UK,Euro,Aus) is equiv US 93 PON, so there's not a lot of margin for tuning in that. It was a tad better when we had the short lived V-Power 100RON here. It's been quite a source of frustration for me with both my '03 Cobra and GT in terms of trying to meet the numbers...

    whipple 4.0

The are quite a machine, however they have weight and traction going against them big time. In normal driving the traction control absolutely smashes the performance if you drop the hammer. Top Gear UK just did a story on them, you'll find it on youtube. Clarkson hated the thing.

    whipple 4.0

I'm not anti boost-a-pump, but I have to mention that I had one on my '03 Cobra at the time it blew up on the dyno in the middle of being tuned. Even though that may not be the direct cause, it does make me a tad leery about the idea of using them with the GT. I know the tuner at the time...

    Performance Gain From Octane Booster?

The only way you'll see a perceived 'performance boost' is if you are using a fuel that's of poorer octane level than your car is tuned to or has a knock sensor that retards timing. In which case all you are doing is bandaiding poor quality fuel. If you add booster to fuel that's already got a...

    4.0 liter Whipple ????

I think you're literally a few days too late for mine. It's going back to MMP today, but I believe he has a customer lined up for it. Feel free to drop Jack a line or PM him though as you never know. You'd have to ask him about price though as I'm not certain what he's told the other customer.

    Stock GT Spercharger

My tuner had the same idea with mine, put it straight on my Lightning. Apparently, though after consulting with James from RWTD Performance, there is big difference in the config(4v vs 2v), making it a difficult exercise, so I never bothered. This is what James told me:

    4.0 liter Whipple ????

Dude, I already have a 3.4, hence why I said I'm sending it back to be sold. Where else would I be sending a stock blower back to, Ford? LOL :rofl Sorry if you were mislead by what I said. In my case, seeing as the 4.0 is essentially another $10k, I do feel the need recover something from my...
