they told me on the phone they've had issues with inverters and were switching to a new model #. so they are aware. As far as staying OEM, it definitely has its plusses, but until the design flaw is fixed, i'm not going to pay to put a faulty design back in.

Yes. Team Jeff found out the ac/dc inverter box they supply went bad. They are sending me another one. The support was fine, but Im' still out labor twice. On the plus side, i've verified my speedo works in excess of 200mph.
