Story regarding the production of the new Ford GT's

Might need to bring Hoppy back to boost volume.

Story regarding the production of the new Ford GT's

Could that be for later 18's or perhaps 19's?

    2018 GT— hopefully weeks away

When did you place your order? Curious about order to delivery timing, it seems to have been reduced.

    JMS Power upgrades

It would be difficult to beat a DC transmission because of constant engagement vs a standard manual clutch transmission even with slightly more power. Computer controlled DC doesn't make mistakes, people do.

    NGT Oil Change

Thank you STORMCAT, I agree with your decision ,I am not as particular about the bottom panels as some might be. I can certainly see why it is needed on the painted surfaces as well as the screens. I assume you don't run screens on the track, have you experienced any damage?

    NGT Oil Change

Why did you decide not to do under car panels?

    2019 heritage

Wasn't it implied that ordering a Heritage could delay your order? I just want to get my GT before I die of old age so I will go with what ever is available the soonest.

    Joe Macura & Making A 427 Sideoiler run 7000+

Here is the video of the run where he clipped a start/finish pylon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnTvAizlQwA

    Joe Macura & Making A 427 Sideoiler run 7000+

The rear gear is 4.88 to 1, the transmission is a 4 speed Jerico with dog rings and a 2.2 first gear no clutch is necessary to shift. Shifts cost too much time so that is the reason for big RPM spread and high numerical ratio. We ran it this weekend at the Del Mar Goodguys show and found...

    Joe Macura & Making A 427 Sideoiler run 7000+

A young man who drives it with skills I no longer possess. I would not want to run it inside those concrete walls at any time. If you watch how much correction he puts in keep in mind that the steering is one turn lock to lock. I am not sure my hands ever moved that fast. His name is Scott...

    Joe Macura & Making A 427 Sideoiler run 7000+

Here is an in car video of the car with new engine on a tight little GoodGuys autox course. You can tell it likes to rev and sounds quite different than the average FE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyZoCYXeOFU&t=0s&index=2&list=UU0CJQuj-tI4J89NccUhpJ1Q

Can a NGT Fit in a "Normal" Trailer

Damn that's tight, I feel much better about my purchase of an 85" wide trailer already although sadly I am still GTless. I would also be worried with the walls so close to the car. My friend had his R mustang slide sideways and hit the trailer wall because the cross strap wasn't properly...

    Thank You

Raj, I remember working with you at B&A as if were yesterday. I only wish I had been involved with you on one of the greatest vehicle programs ever completed by the company. You have accomplished so much in such a short time you should be very proud. I am sure you will also be successful...

    ZR1 faster lap then NFGT

So true, you cannot compare lap times from different days with different drivers one going for a record the other just making a test lap. Which car would any of you rather have, a hopped up front engined Corvette or or a rare work of art?

    Motor Trend NFGT testing

Throttle opening rate vs pedal travel and velocity can help with power down and rear grip issues. Since it is drive by wire it can be programmed to not exceed available rear grip levels at varying lateral loads and speeds.

    Motor Trend NFGT testing

I always start with the easy minor adjustments, for example 2005 GT's had geometry designed to produce roll under steer that could be adjusted out which I did on my 2005 GT. Ride height can effect more than aerodynamics it also effects the roll axis so whenever making a tire size change I make...

    Motor Trend NFGT testing

Yes but sometimes that can lead to instability, my 991 GT3 had a similar issue, I tried rear toe, front toe out and more rake angle. Finally substituted 285/19 fronts for the 245's and the car is pulling more lateral G's by .1 to .2. Braking is also better because of larger front foot print...

    Motor Trend NFGT testing

http://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/reviews/2017-ford-gt-first-test-the-price-of-priceless/ar-AAv05xf?li=BBnb7Kz Easy fix, 265/35 ZR20 fronts to cure under steer and more aggressive brake pads. I assume drive by wire throttle can be programmed to provide any opening rate desired so that can be...

Ford GT fastest lap ever at VIR - C&D

That is wonderful, it really shows how good the aerodynamics of the Ford GT are.
