For the OP, there will be cars for sale. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but sooner than later. And I suspect there will be some who desire a quiet transaction if the price is correct. Good luck and enjoy the search.

That sounds like fun Rich, wish I could get there this weekend. Nice in Detroit in early fall and will certainly be a fun event with FGT 'royalty' there. Also nice to be near where the old GTs were designed and produced. Two GTs for you, I'm not up to date.

Hey extrap, you found the right place here and you will find your car. PPI is $ well spent and like Specracer said, take your time and enjoy the hunt. I also saw your post on Centerpunch's cost thread, he's another great FGT asset . He's been analyzing prices on and off since at least 2005...

Yeah, I don't know why it's so difficult for GM to get this right. The Corvette's fugly rear end has been a design issue for a few gens now, in my and others' view. For those who can look past this and if/when any early productions issues are resolved, a great deal.
