Leave them open whenever you want to (I would keep an eye on the struts to make sure they’re still in good shape to hold the clamshell securely open). Billet Aluminium vents are a must if you don’t want to deal with warped plastic vents.

Just watched it, very nicely done. Best part: Camilo offering to hook Jay up with the AL seat insert. Worst part: Jay’s speedo not working, (notice that when they were talking about the tach D shape).

Notice how the new canister design is on the psssenger side, the wire is a plug and play vs. the one he cut to remove the old one from the assembly, also the black caps used as a shimmy so the canister secures better in place. Since you may not know who is replacing yours, I suggest you insist...
