Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Couldn’t dodge what looked like a 2 ft x 1 ft piece of sheet rock flipped up by the car in front of me. Mostly shattered but was not sheet rock but a thin hard plastic sheet with some cloth backing. Again, mostly splintered except for what hit my front splitter on edge. Black epoxy fix made it...

https://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/threads/what-have-you-learned-about-your-ngt-today.34918/post-472595 fuel capacity is 15.2 gallons but gauge is set at 13 Gallons. I’ve gone 10 miles past zero miles remaining and had flickers of the fuel bar display appear after disappearing. I’ve seen 300...

    Gas guzzler tax rebate?

Last couple of months since a trip meter reset has been mostly highway commuting (4500 miles). Average mpg is way better than what is was taxed for. I should be eligible for a rebate, right?

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

These are huge and heavy! Waiting for rears and pads, sourced from a variety of locations. Fronts were reported out of stock and back ordered. Am I going to have to do this again after the next 135,000 miles?

What have you done with your new Ford GT?

Ok, how does a transmission cooler not last, and start spraying clutch fluid out the rear, and need to be replaced, at 45000 miles? For $4500. I need to learn how to disassemble these body parts.

What have you done with your new Ford GT?

Give those hose clamps an extra quarter turn or more and save yourself a $1500 bill for replacing the glass. But hey, at least it wasn’t a warranty issue , this second time!

GT Price Curve Now Vs Two Years Ago

I see an asymptotic flattening at 30 k miles with a single 80k miles errant datapoint all by itself. With no price below that data point the curve is heading up. The more miles I put on mine, the higher the value!

    Looking For A Trailer

I could never figure out how to back up a trailer (bottom of the wheel in direction you want the trailer to go?) or calculate the angular derivative of the angular acceleration? Too complicated. That’s why I just drive it everywhere.
