That's fair enough. Of all the cars I'm fortunate to own, there is no car I enjoy driving more on a nice day than my GTX1. Just my 2 cents.

^I disagree. I own one of each and can't discern a difference. To say the GT "handles and drives MUCH better" surprised me. Then again, mine are tungsten. Maybe yours are a different color. :)

Our industrial base has little to do with the Big 3. They stopped buying US made machine tools/technology long, long ago. Using the "saving our industrial base" as an excuse for propping up the Detroit 3 is weak sauce.

Maybe we need an overhaul of our tax system but I'm certain that any new tax the government introduces will be an "additional" tax as opposed to a replacement tax.

Thanks Kingman. Great read. I remember seeing pictures of a SR-71 on the ground awaiting take off. It was sweating jet fuel thru its skin as it was built to let its skin "expand" in flight. It's amazing what our guys were capable of building even back then.
