    RE: cables....a Loong time ago I had shifting issues. Ended up that the jacketing had melted inside the V of the motor. we ordered a nw cable set. I got a call from Ford from the man that put the cables together. He said never try and adjust them. I make sure they are perfect before we ship...

    Contact GT101 to see if he has the clutch you need. Stillen is the way to go. My experience 80,000+ before replacement.

    MartynL- you had a blessed relationship of nearly 60 years of GT enjoyment. "Age-ing out" is a fact of living. I am thankful that : 1) still have my GT (and am driving it less) and 2) I'm one day older than yesterday. Motor On!

    Guide was the original mfr. Tooling was given to the by Ford. Guide declared bankruptcy . Ford tried to get the tooling back, but lie any other creditor had to wait a long time for their claim to be resolved.

    Porsche (PNA) supported 356's until about 1974. They liquidated 356 parts due to declining sales $$ and the need to increase parts storage needs for the very popular 911 series. Last ones made were in 1965, so about 9 years after production ceased. Total number produced was approx. 76,000...

    Up & right during acceleration...

    The issue came up on the first day driving to Dearborn for Rally #1. Lot's of phone calls trying to figure out A) why does it only push right when accelerating but doesn't return to straight when letting off of the gas And B) is it safe to drive. I chose to keep going always aware of the issue...

    had a similar problem many years ago -internally broken ball joint in the left rear. This was not visible from the outside.
