My Ford GT build date was March 17th, 2006, St Paddy's Day. Being half Irish, this was perfect. Arrived at Buerge Ford in West LA on March 29, and found only home April 2, 2006. Still the most incredible and recognizable design in sports car history!

I had to go through this 2 years ago. It takes about 120 miles, averaging 60-65 mph to reset the monitors. Don't put the baterry in, drive it for 10 miels and then get tested. Doesn't work.

I can't get too bothered about the selling price. First of all if you have a current GT, you are lucky. If you have money to spend, then you'll find a GT someday. If you don't care what the price is (like me). then wait and see what happens. At a produciton rate reported at 200 per year...

Not sure if you smog in Canada, but changing your battery, messed up the US smog testing to the point that you fail to pass. Takes about 120 miles of driving between 65-70 to reset the smog mechanics to eventually pass.
