    There is a prior thread on this. In my opinion, the frictional losses on the engine at periodic starting, are much worse then letting it sit. Unless you get the "whole" drive train up to operating temp, you're just adding water to the lubricants. That said, the effect on all the seals, may be...

    To echo all of these statements, run this car dry, fuel system is not going to be happy. Read expensive!!!!!!!! There could be worse things that might happen. Who needs the headache, keep it between .25 and .50, and one less thing to think about. Enjoy, Mark

    Oil pump Belt, When to change?

    Not a fan of changing for "NO'" reason! However, for an externally driven oil pump, "better safe, then sorry!". That said, I'm not aware of many oil pump belt failures for this application. Just saying...............! Best, Mark
