    collector car market / Hagerty

It seems to me that it's the old story: buy what you like and not for investment. Whatever happens, you will have had the chance to enjoy whatever it was you bought and DROVE.

I have not seen Rejex myself (no one within 50 miles of me carries it, I have to order it) but I read a review that said it contains petroleum distillates. As you know, the Clearplex instructions posted above say not to use anything that contains such distillates. Perhaps the review I read was...

    ClearPlex

I have been unable to find ANY source for the Clearplex rain repellent spray (Clear X?), including the manufacturer. In fact, the mfg doesn't return phone calls, either. And, their web site is terrible. Is there a source? I can get Rejex, which contains petroleum distillates, which are...

    ClearPlex

But if you're driving in the rain (especially following traffic), it seems that grit is guaranteed to get on the windshield while the wipers are in operation. Or is it just that the blades need to be clean before use, but during use it doesn't matter?

    ClearPlex

I've had clearplex on my windshield for several years now and it is great! However, I wonder about damage to it if I were to have to use my wipers in the rain ... does anyone have any experience with this? How long does it take to scratch the clearplex if it's raining steadily? Is the damage...

Eleven FGTs going up for auction at Monterey/Pebble Beach/Carmel next week

I won't be surprised if the prices are depressed by having so many up for sale at the same time and place ... it will depend on having quite a few serious bidders.

    P0174, Lean Bank 2 solved

What is the part name and number? Very interesting! What is the part name, number, and cost? Thanks! Ordered the part from local Ford Dealership (about 30 miles out), received it and installed. No more Codes and the car getting better fuel mileage and seems to be much more “peppy”. On a...

Driving without the two rear belly pans?

After 26,000 miles my engine compartment needs a thorough cleaning, and to do that I need to remove the belly pans, do the wash and clean, and then I'd like to drive the car a bit (not at high speed, just around town) so it dries out completely. Is there a problem doing that? IDK if the pans...

Emengency, Please help with coolant reservoir question

This is all explained in the manuals. However: the outer tank is the intercooler coolant fluid, the inner tank (that gets really hot!) is for the radiator/engine coolant. The level in the outer tank should be at the upper ring; the level in the inner tank should be at the lower ring. If fluid...
