    The new old

The xkes really need five speeds or overdrive here in the states, as they changed the rear end ratio to give it more off the line (the later year dual stromberg carbs and reduced compression had to be compensated for. The new old

Mine is the last of the series two, a late 71. I think that when they stretched it into the v12, it lost a lot of its looks. I have had mine since about 1996, had always wanted one since I was 14. My across the street neighbor let me drive a freshly off lease xke in 1969, and as I was flying...

    Wrecked GT Copart

can certainly be repaired, but with the miles, the hard damage, the expense and time to find the parts, the aftermarket wheels ,the blown air bags the salvage title, this one should be a donor

    Is that a kit car?

Someone came onto our all Porsche lot several years ago, looked at my red roadster and asked if it was a kit car. Really stupid when there was nothing but a bunch of Porsches ONLY surrounding the car!

Water temp rises to 240 real quick....hmm

I started to read this and immediately thought thermostat until further down the story when you said you just replaced the water pump. NOW I would say that the cooling system was not bled properly / thoroughly and you have a bubble in the cooling system. This same thing happens in the water...

Fair price for ‘06 GT with incident?

totally agree with the concern about the welding. Bolt on parts are not so bad, (like the rear clamshell) but frame welding, frame pulling, bent suspension points, are very worrisome, especially considering who is doing the repair.

    GT40 EV

so we can imagine on a very hot summer day, all of the home AC units blasting, everyone returning home and plugging in their electric car at virtually the same time and the power grid shutting down in the whole time zone blowing every transformer
