Charity event, "Racing for a Cure"

Oh, this was there too. One of only 50 MC12's worldwide, this one has been modified with a MC12 Corsa body for the street and some pretty extensive engine mods. Absolutely incredible car.

No, not an FXX. He calls it a "ZXX" (his name is Zahir). It's a street legal Enzo that has been extensively modified to look like an FXX. And go like one. Pretty extreme, and pretty awesome too.

    And so it begins

I don't envy you your choice to make. I thought the green was the best, but now looking at that white..... It's not quite white is it (the roundel is brighter than the paint). Wins either way though. Can't wait to see it done.

    A fun ride last Friday!

Good times!!! Mexico is a long way from la belle province, so I don't wanna think about how fast you were going to get there.... :lol Man, your car sure jumps when you get on it! :thumbsup

Charity event, "Racing for a Cure"

We had a charity event here this past weekend. With the generous support of a LOT of drivers, we raised a quarter mill for two local sick kids charities. Easily 45 cars, with the majority being Ferrari 458's and Lambo Gallardo's. There were probably 15 Ferrari's AND 15 Lamborghini's in total...

The things you find surfing ;-) the net

eventually, you might see a car. Wonder whose it is and why they didn't tell us about the shoot. If you hunt out the website (and I'm not suggesting it would be hard to find, look in the bottom right of the pictures - haha), you'll find some NSFW pics (with the car of course) too. :thumbsup

Think twice on the SpeedHut Gauges

^^ That's the difference with factory exhaust, aftermarket exhausts, and the gates of hell (your exhaust). ;-)

Think twice on the SpeedHut Gauges

Sorry to hear of your woes. Mine are working now (knock on wood) so hopefully they'll stay that way. I wonder if the invertor issue is caused by the same thing that caused the OEM gauges to fry? I really like my gauges, but if I didn't lose the fuel gauge in the first place, I wouldn't have...

    Project 321 - Group Buy

Well, for what it's worth, I didn't think the sills were hard to remove at all using a heat gun and pliers. Taking my time and being extra careful, it wasn't even 10 minutes a side. They will not be reusable though, so you might want to consider getting a set of spare OEM ones from Torrie if...

    Help For Windshield Pitting?

Having seen my friend's glass without the clearplex, I don't think our windshields are any more pit prone than my 911 glass (which is the worst glass I've ever had for pitting, but doesn't seem to 'star' like my audi glass or my GF's Nissan). So maybe, like on the Porsche, it's a design thing...

    Help For Windshield Pitting?

I've got the Clearplex too. About 4 years (maybe 5) now. Still clear, still no pitting. Used with the wipers at least two dozen times with no scratches so far. VERY happy with it. FULL DISCLOSURE - when I first put it on, you could see some lines, but after a few days in the sun, those lines...

Finally ready - My GT on BBS FI wheels and ceramic brakes (pics)

I'd like to hear Ron's thoughts, but for my thinking, the CC brakes would reduce the unsprung weight of the brake disc, although that caliper is a LOT bigger and might re-introduce some of that weight savings. As for braking, I can't see how bigger brakes will stop you faster than the stockers...
