Think you're referring to the Braille thread. Li batteries need a higher voltage charger. CTEK is fine for the for the stock lead battery.

I believe 14S28 was the interim passenger side recall which is what I just got done 2 weeks ago. 16S28 IS the second go around and would assume is the permanent fix??

I've had the same ongoing problem with my passenger side bulb. The firm slap used to work but now only rarely. I actually had the bulb removed and the contacts cleaned the last time it was in for service. Passenger side is apparently more involved as more stuff needs to be moved out of the way...

I got the letter for 16S26 today. I JUST had both sides done as well about 2 weeks ago. 16S26 just came out, so yes, both of us have to do the passenger side again.

You heard correctly, Andy. But it's up to the dealer's discretion and capability. I asked the first dealer (which is a good 45 min-hour from me) if they could send out their tech. Said they don't have mobile capabilities. Didn't even bother with the second as I just wanted it done then and...

10 hours and 2 dealerships later (long story, too long to reiterate), I finally got the driver's and passenger's side done. Everything seems to be back in place, nothing obviously broken, bent, scratched, missing or loose.

I think the driver's side is readily available. Passenger sides are in shorter supply. I believe 'higher risk' areas are getting priority. Desert SW and California will probably be one of the last ones to get them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
