    Modifications Done

The car feels great but traction is a real problem. I was not at the shop when the stiffing was done but I believe it is as simple as fitting stiffer plastic material on the inside of the tube. Chris

    Modifications Done

I got my car back from Ida performance yesterday. I went with a very modest boast increase of just 15 psi, changed the spark plugs, installed k&n air filters, Bob Ida's exhaust/muffler and we dyno tuned the motor. In addition, we had to stiffen the rubber air tubes because they collapse at...

    Pulley mod suppliers?

I called every tuner to order either a pulley or supercharger snout with a pulley set. None are available currently. I had to have mine made by Bob Ida.

    Modded FORD GT 10.4 @ 144mph VIDEO!

Ken, Your are right, I just had my car modified and I will post all the details in a new post but the air box inlets are too small as well as the clam shell hood scoops. There is also vents/air that is allowed to enter the intake from the engine room!!! That is why the rubber hoses are...

Air Inlet Sag and Rear ClamShell...

I had the same exact issue, panel gaps not even and it rubbed a little when opening. I was able to fix it by loosing the bolts and readjusting.

    Supercharger oil leak

jtatum01, I have never heard of this oil problem. Mine is clean and I have many more miles. The good news is that if it is leaking from the front of the supercharger, the front snout unbolts from the rest of the supercharger and can be easily replaced.

    A leaky problem with photos

Neilda, No problem with the questions. First, I used an 'imperial' box wrench of 11/16ths if I remember correctly to remove the vent plug however metric will work. The area is very accessable by removing the air filter box first. It is a two minute job with two screws (one on each side, 10mm)...

    A leaky problem with photos

Okay, I think I may have fixed my leak. At first I tried some tread sealer and a short hose over the vent portion but it still leaked. This morning I made a rubber washer that fit very snug on top of the threads and took the car out for some testing. After some hard running I returned and...

    New Exhaust System

, 4. I also have a hard time believing that there is an intake temperature decrease under actual driving conditions since there is lots of air circulating though the engine compartment, by design. Since the huge box muffler is double-walled it therefore acts a thermal insulator. Heck, I can...

Will Trade BBS for Stock Wheels

great deal, remove your muffler and you can offset the weight increase :eek I wonder if an aftermarket rim maker can create the stock rim look with lighter materials because it appears that many owners like the looks of the stock wheel better than the BBS regardless of the weight performance...

Sneak Peek - Stainless Works headers/exhaust kit

Combine exhaust changes (headers, no cats and/or muffler) with an increase in boast and ECU tuning and you get a synergistic increase in power which means that combining these modifications you will get more power then the sum of the individual changes by themselves.

New Gt Lacking Performance - Any Ideas ?

I have been at the track twice and I could not floor it immediately even after only a rpm 2,500 launch. You need to easy into it to avoid traction problems, at least I did. Even with the easy launches and shifts I never went above 11.8 at 128. I think you need to have your GT serviced.

    New Exhaust System

The curve and shape are used to create a "less than straight pipe" sound as well as maintaining the optimum backpressure for overall performance.

    New Exhaust System

Just got off the phone with Bob and I am bringing my car in on April 5. I have a number of things to get done and I will see the muffler on site and determine if it is worth the money. I will let you know. Thanks
