If you were in a hot weather area, depending on how damaged the fins were you should consider replacing. In Canada, you can probably leave then as-is.

I agree if they have been mounted the whole time and exposed to UV radiation. Stored indoors unmounnted in a quiet cool environment will extend the life quite awhile past the normal expected life. Just kidding about the quiet part, but that is how I would want to be stored.

With due respect, not true.....even discussed this with Bill, and previously with tire rack. Also stored Diablo tires like this for 5 years successfully.

This is an interesting but strange move by Bridgestone. In all fairness, how well known is Radial compared to Tire Rack, Walmart, Amazon. If Bill is worried about sitting on inventory, maybe he makes side deals with them. I'm thinking about buying a spare set (I bought rears like a month ago)...

My previous owner had bought a set, when the two owners prior did not....well worth having.

They really don’t have much storage room from what I remember. I have one sitting around.....but it is part of a nearly complete CF interior, so if it is worth 5 figures to get some storage, come at me.....LOL

Bill at Radial just received 26 rears with 4721 date codes. This batch is already sold but it underscores that the demise of these Bridgestone tires may be premature. As part of this transaction I needed to cancel a back order with tire rack, who still doesn’t know when they will get a batch in.

My Escape was T-boned a couple of months ago. Geico is going to fix it because of the used car market, but with structural damage it has I probably won't keep it. Sat down with a Ford salesman where it is being fixed, and he has a wait list on 3 pages of a legal pad and most will not get cars...
