Looking for a low mileage GT

Well there were pluses and minuses to the car I bought. Most of you would have run away from a driver grade car. 29k miles, lots of modifications (probably over $30k worth).....most of which I like, Speedhut gauge set, replaced front bumper because a previous owner bumped into something (not...

Looking for a low mileage GT

Remember that day.....watching every car sell for more than $300k, even a couple that looked sketchy on TV put my butt into gear knowing I had limited time left before I was priced out of the market. I had missed several cars in the proceeding 4 months (they were mostly 15-20k mile cars for...

Is this normal for a high mileage car

Yeah, way more than normal chipping. And clear film was around then......but it was problematic and didn't age well as I found out on another car. Make sure you understand the mods before going ahead. Price seems high, but not too many options below $400k the last time I looked.

    Really? IMO a Horrible Appraisal

I would guess you aren’t getting enough exposure. Very sure there will be a buyer if you can reach those who see value in saving $75k-$100k over 3k mile cars. If you haven’t already, you should consider ads on other high end enthusiast sites (I’m not an auction guy).

    Really? IMO a Horrible Appraisal

Not sure what you are getting at, the YouTube in question was posted 5 days ago, the co-part listing was 2 days ago. Will agree the VIN numbers are very close to each other and less than 10 digits from mine. The way these things go, the wreck was probably a couple months ago at least.

    Really? IMO a Horrible Appraisal

so this evaluation just looks wrong for a car the guy said was clean.

    Really? IMO a Horrible Appraisal

So do you think the owner purchased the billet ones? His 1,700 VIN# says he didn’t get them from Ford.

    Really? IMO a Horrible Appraisal

Just saw this video. Original owner, 31k miles, tasteful mods.......$275k to $300k Now is it just me, or would there be a line of buyers going around the block to buy it at this price? Aren't salvage cars pretty close to this?

    Finally Did it....Ordered a Jeep Wrangler.....With a V8

Ordered in mid-October, still waiting. Very Bronco-like LOL

Looking for a low mileage GT

Retail buyers are always a pain to deal with……picky and many unknowledgeable (think of BAT commenters), slow to make decisions, so many times underfunded, come up with lame excuses (my wife won’t let me buy it)…..the list goes on and on. And honestly, I am all of those :) (Except the wife part...

Looking for a low mileage GT

Go compare it side-by-side with other so-called red colors like Ferrari Rosso corsa and the Corvette and you will see how much better the FGT looks.

Looking for a low mileage GT

Meh, if the money is right I'd sell mine. So make the decision on the car as I'm sure you could come up with one from somewhere. Just buy what you can and buy new gauges over time. FWIW, there is a bezel alone on ebay for $2,700.

Looking for a low mileage GT

For my high mile car, see the Speedhuts as a positive as I love the white dial, the shift lights, and they always........work. Probably deserves a price ding on a low mile car IMO.
