CHevy's destroyed the Honda's on gas mileage.... I mean killed them by 10-15 laps.. Kingman, me too, it's 90 minutes away, would have been there in a heartbeat. Never knew it was coming. It's in Brazil this weekend, if we leave now in teh4 GT's we can get there a day early.

On a related topic, the head of engineering at Shelby American gave all the drivers a talk before open track at the Shelby Bash in Vegas and talked about running on an open track with low fuel at revs. If you are super low on fuel on you are pull G's and the fuel pickup goes dry you can lean out...

Never forget when my bolts busted outside the gate of our neighborhood. Thought they were replaced but were not or they just busted. Fluid all over, 7am, no bueno....

Yeah, I'll never forget when mine was hovering 12 feet off the ground on the second deck praying it would not fall.... Drive the shit out of it, I babied mine for two years, then I discovered the track. Now I'm making the changes needed to keep it running correct under track and spirited...

So funny on the SAAC Forum these guys find these "Barn Finds" and then claim they are a 1 of 1 due to a rare emblem or some small insignificant fact that makes them rare etc..... Everyone wants the prototype, the car they thought they crushed but shows up 40 years later. There are some fun ones...

One more thing I would do is bring a torque wrench and set it at 100lbs and crank them down. After 1-2 runs after initialky setting them at 80lbs I had some pretty loose lug nuts. If you are cranking on the car, always check those before each run...
