Mine is held by two screws and when I pulled it up about an inch...it gets "stuck", kinda like I need to release some pin/lock. I don't want to break/damage it? "...remove the MAF. It sits in the top of the air intake pipe. IIRC, it’s held in with one screw."

I was sitting at a stoplight with a rock solid idle in my 2006 Ford GT (45,000 miles, pulley/tune). A solid 30-40 knot crosswind blew and I swear it "blew out" my idle (and the car stalled). I have no codes and I am reviewing other threads about stalling at idle BUT at least one other owner...

No codes...I may try MAF cleaner. Can I just spray the right stuff while MAF still installed/hooked up?

No codes...stumble at idle did not leave a trace/code.

My SCT X4 read no codes...so stumble at idle is not throwing a code.

I got an SCT tuner from Torrie (with my tune). So, I can read codes with it? I guess I will read the directions/instructions.

Congrats! Looks like a 288 GTO behind it in one picture. I flew one way and drove mine 500 miles home...what a trip! Don't forget to pop the hatch after stopping for gas to keep the plastic vent trim pieces from warping. Any stories about where you got it/How you found this one?

I flew over you many times...actually closer to Del Mar (which was also a popular break with the aviators that surfed). I lived at La Jolla Village tennis club (with a roommate that made 4-star) and then off Camino Ruiz while flying out of NAS Miramar from 1985-1988.
