Thanks Specracer and Stormcat, I did forget about the key switch. Car and manual are in the air on a lift tucked away for winter. My wife will feel better, we have cars we ride in without airbags.

I am pretty sure I will never see the passenger side replacement now. I do not want my wife riding with the potentially defective unit. No way my Ford dealer will disconnect it, so what can be done? I can't believe that we are just going to get stuck with this but I don't see Ford helping either.

I still have my 06, go to shows and track. Supplier to Ford for 36 years. Got deferred, thrilled for all those that were so lucky to get one!!

I have heard 2 years as well. FWIW.

I have driven many cars not equipped with airbags and I am thinking I would like mine disabled. Has anyone done this or know what is involved? Thanks.

Some of you may remember the special lug nuts I made for our GT's. In expanding and moving the warehouse I have located 6 sets for sure (maybe 8) of the chrome nuts with the GT logo. Also one set of Shelby GT 500 with the snake. They were and are $141.25 delivered in the USA if anyone still is...

Mine were rotated about 90 degrees from where they should be. I wonder if it is related to Whipple and tracking vs normal street use? 6700 miles, third set of tires :)
