How much gas/miles left in tank when light comes on....?

Not the GT, but I remember driving my truck while pulling my loaded car trailer. Got low enough that I was so worried, I disconnected my car trailer and left my wife babysitting the car and trailer on the side of the road while I drove the 3 -4 milers in to the next town to get gas. I have...

Brand New set of harnesses and mounting clips

Happy with my set for the GT. Just bought a another set from Crow for my Shelby. Heard the old gentleman running the place was getting ready to retire and close shop. Was hoping to send my set to him for recertification for before this happens. Jeff

WANTED: Console Storage Unit By Kip

With people digging through their stashes and parts coming out of the woodworks, I thought I would bump this back up. Interested in talking about any of the available options. Jeff

    New GT owner with question

Yes it does. Almost pushed her to 22k today. Did about 130 miles this afternoon. Probably done for the season though.

    New GT owner with question

Welcome to the group! After dragging out the decision for years, and listening to different versions at every rally, I went with Rich's x-pipe. Just the sound and volume to give it that muscle car sound, but not over done. Mitchell definitely knows his Tungsten cars, still enjoying the one he...

Aftermarket company uses my FGT for R&D

Another thumbs up for Evan's unit. (y) Really like how it looks original in the engine compartment! One of the earlier mods we did. Drain about 1/4 cup every oil change with 1000-2000 miles of aggressive/spirited driving.

Air Filter Replacement - Part 2 (AKA 2,700 miles doesn't mean "new" on a 15 year old car)

Low mileage definitely does not mean the air filter doesn’t need to be replaced. I remember a forum member telling me a story about a piece of his air filter getting stuck in the throttle plate at 100 mph. I am sue he is rigorous with his maintenance and it wasn’t old. Can only imagine what an...

    Pricing in next 5 years?

May be repeating others, but had throw in my 2 cents. I read this thread yesterday morning, and then went out Sunday and put 180 miles on my 2006. As I was driving, I became envious of the forum members that do NOT have to worry about if this is the last drive of the season. I have had many...

Ready to Buy a GT - higher mileage – 05-06

    Car wash advice

If you are referring to Optimum No Rinse, we use this as well. Happy with the results, especially with the ceramic coating, but good on cars without it as well.

Ford GT's Getting Flagged by CARB!

A lot of repair shops report general maintenance and mechanical repairs to Carfax through their POS systems. Is it possible a tune shop is integrated in to those type of systems?

    Fuel gauge troubleshoot

I had what Kendall speaks of. Intermittent gauge in-operation, always fixed by a key cycle or 2. Which gauge was acting up varied. No issues starting the car. This was fixed with a new battery. That would leave sender or gauge as the cause. These guys have been down this road and are right...

    Muffler replacement question

I would say yes. We removed the calm shell, and the bumper still had to come off.

Congratulations Terry! With all the time you've spent at the factory, they should have let you just pick up there.
