    Presenting MKII #13...

So far I've tried adjusting the front alignment and adding a bit of rake, and the car's now very neutral in low speed turns, but the high speed push remains. Per Multimatic, the next step is to add front aero (or remove rear aero, but they prefer the former) to make the high-speed balance...

Ok, super early sneak peek. Haven't even washed her yet. Gorgeous, gorgeous car.

    Presenting MKII #13...

INNNNteresting, thanks for sharing. Three observations: 1) That really does look friendly even with the TCS turned completely off, not at all violent or snappy when the rear comes unglued. 2) The aero push is really evident in the esses and the big right-hand sweeper. There's substantial time...

That's a GoPro hero 9 -- linear FOV, 60fps. And, sadly, no data overlay

Onboard the GT MK II for a lap of Buttonwillow racetrack

Yes, it's a difficult track - few reference points, many connected corners, and elevation and camber are all in play. It's also very fast - my average speed on that lap was 103 MPH. To put the pace in perspective, one of my fellow time trial drivers posted this video from inside his car. He was...

Onboard the GT MK II for a lap of Buttonwillow racetrack

I brought my MK II to Buttonwillow a couple weeks ago for a time trials event. I'm still learning the track, but the MK II is sooooo friendly to drive that it made my life quite easy. At the end of the day, my 1:41.3 lap of CW13 was the quickest of the day by a margin, and for reference is 5...

    Presenting MKII #13...

Sweet - glad you had the opportunity to take it out on the track and have fun! The braking is nutty, even better than my full-on GT3 race car. Do you have any onboard video you can share? Would love to see how it gets around COTA...

That turned out beautifully. I particularly like the placement of the multimatic logo on the wing end plates. Congratulations and enjoy her!

Onboard GT mk II at Laguna Seca

This was an unlimited sound day, so... flaaaat ooooout!! Otherwise I believe it blows about 107dB, so it might pass a 105dB day with diverter pipes.

Onboard GT mk II at Laguna Seca

It's an incredible car. Running :27s out of the box with no setup and mid-life tires is unheard-of for a GT car. Above and beyond the performance, it's such a friendly car to drive. You can get it in and just go fast; it doesn't demand exceptional precision and punish errors like a car this fast...

    Handling at the limit?

I do not have a place at Thermal -- it's a wonderful facility, but I built a home close to Laguna Seca instead -- and thank you and others for the recommendation. My GT is heading to Kendall's shop this weekend for its out-of-hibernation spa treatment before I loose it on the streets of Carmel.

    Handling at the limit?

No worries, it's always good advice and bears repeating. I've been racing GT cars since 2013 and have achieved a reasonable level of (amateur-level) skill over the years, but I'm always inclined to treat a new car with caution until I know how it likes to be driven. I'll find some safe corners...

    Handling at the limit?

Thermal is open again. It's very hot in Palm Springs this time of year but I understand folks will go out at 6am and drive until noon, then call it a day. I'll certainly do that once conditions permit.

    Handling at the limit?

Greetings fellow GT enthusiasts, A '06 Heritage GT has been on my bucket list for .. well, a long time. I've recently taken the leap and gotten a '20 Heritage MK II, which I love, and it has me once again looking at the '06. One question gives me pause - I had heard from a racing acquaintance...
