I've seen some amazing repairs on CF wheels. No one can tell they were repaired. Unless the CF wheels are stolen you should be ok without a spare set.

The ride height with Scott's Ohlins are adjustable. Ed

I had Penskes then switched to Scott's Ohlins shocks on my '05. A huge difference. The Ohlins are good but it's Scott's internal setup that makes it the best choice. Also I had to have the Penskes rebuilt each year (6K miles/yr). They use an o-ring type seal so they weep enough not to notice...

I would skip Sunday's Pebble Beach Concourse. Or if you have to go be the very first. Too many people, long lines for everything, Port-a-Can toilets that are overused, unremarkable food, etc. The view of the ocean before the thousands arrive is very nice. I would recommend The Quail on Friday...
