Getting to radiator fan with ease?

Any idea what hardware is supposed to attach the upper fan bushings? Looks like I’m missing somehow the cover on the backside of the fan

Getting to radiator fan with ease?

Middle of the day the screw cover cap that (I guess) holds the right side steering column trim together came flying off. Found it when I was having lunch....threw it onto the pass seat and now Ive got to go dig around the cabin as its playing hide and seek.

Getting to radiator fan with ease?

Not a great design, having the two bolts on each side hiding to hold the screen in Is there supposed to be a bolt through this rubber bushing to the attach side? That picture is of the radiator that is sitting perfect I wonder where the Ford when I had a new AC condenser put in that they took...

Getting to radiator fan with ease?

I just had a quick look …. It looks like you can get access on the exit side of the grill (most of the torx 27 bolts out) but there looks to be two bolts on the underside there that can only be gotten to from the light area…..dang x 10

Getting to radiator fan with ease?

Did some searching and found a bit on front fender/frunk removal......but wondering if thats going to be my path to get a hands on look at the radiators? Is it a 2 man job if I have to go and take front clip off to get to the radiators? Just looking for a short cut or some tips/tricks on fixing...

    Stock rotor Vs Girodisc....

As I was on my last lap I was cursing around to cool things off ( car temps all day great) and I noticed it was taking longer to get below 200. Decided to pull in to load up area and got out of car and noticed a rubbing/spinning sound from one of the radiators. The good one was pushing to some...

    Stock rotor Vs Girodisc....

So here's the rears after a couple dozen (med/solid effort) laps yesterday at Sebring Was an OPEN TRACK day so I had cars with serious pace hauling up into my mirror, but fun to watch them rip by (waved by) The last half of my day was more "go" and temps went up a bit So the bake to GOLD...

    Stock rotor Vs Girodisc....

Yep whacked on some temp indicators (just for fun & interest + match the Gulf blue perfect) but now that I don't have a full stock system it will be not apples 2 apples for comparison. I do have a bolt on front cooling scoop diversion system and thats made a good difference for track use...

    Stock rotor Vs Girodisc....

Ready 2 go...... Sorry ready to stop. Scott was great to chat to and let me pic his brain. Plus he got the hustle on the discs so I had them in time. Unfortunately too many GT's are just street driving/parked and the Girodiscs going out the door is far and few between nowdays ... Stu A

    Stock rotor Vs Girodisc....

Funny... my rears are in perfect shape, no cracks...but the callipers have changed colour to a green/gold hue after 1 track day. The fronts colour looks factory even with the slight cracks appearing. I do have a home made front ducting set up I add when heading to the track that might have...

    Stock rotor Vs Girodisc....

Thank all of you for your gained experience on the middle pedal.....and getting that experience in the GT to the keyboard is invaluable. I spoke to Scott this afternoon anddecided to do the Giro change out. Might not (but fingers are crossed anyways) get them in time for Sebring next Friday I...

    Stock rotor Vs Girodisc....

Don't do many track days (1 a year) but notice the front discs have a few cracks from the vent holes. Not every hole but many and some about 5mm long. They function perfect, no hazing and perfect finish...but not sure of the tolerances for driving hard in their future. Looked at Ford Parts for...

    Race Ramps

When my lift is at lowest I can lift up the thin edge of the ramp and align some stepped ply that I built (about 48") and roll the GT up with easy clearance I align them so when I place front wheel right over left ply ramp I have alignment to the main deck My 4 post is a extra wide set up so I...

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

I wonder if the cars running the 5% lower profile rubber + Ohlins suspension upgrade automatically have an unofficial "track" setup? We need Scott to chime in. Hooked
