    Garage questions

Garage I recently went through this and found The Garage Journal Forum very useful. Careful now - it will consume lots of your time! :wink http://www.garagejournal.com/ There is a sub section for every conceivable need. I went vinyl tile - but would not recommend it. There are many epoxy...

From work I sighted these cars:

Skyline I went to lunch today (Panera bread for inquiring minds!) and parked next to an older Nissan Skyline GT-R Spec V. It looked a bit strange until I noticed that it was right hand drive!! It was in a funky iradscent purple/black/plumb color and looked very "kit-car" like. But is was...

Brake Pad Residue in Caliper Holes

Yes Same happened to me on Friday. I was running Kyles floating rotors with stock pads. LOTS of dust and debris and all holes full of brake residue. Full report after we take the wheels off.

    Nigerian GT Scam

Nigeria I don't care what it is - or how it comes to you - if it is any way associated with Nigeria - it's a scam. Several years ago my company got scammed on a relatively small transaction paid for by a credit card which cleared. Money in the bank. The s**t hit the fan when B of A called a...

    New mercedes mclaren

Sl-r Saw one Friday night in downtown Charleston - and it did nothing for me! Yes, it's raw and I like the engineering behind it - but visually, it's confused! Local dealer sold one at the end of last year for $513k !! !!Ouch!! MB 63 Black is a much better choice! (IMHO)

    Uprated Suspension

I love T&A Yes, I do!! So does my GT. The difference on the track is tremendous. A much more "planted" feel to the car. Bumps are smoothed out and corner loads minimized - with great feedback. A wise investment.

    TRG Racing

TRG (The Racer’s Group) What a great team! This past week-end, Kevin Buckler of TRG Racing hosted a dinner at the VIR Clubhouse for those at a track day on Monday with the Ferrari Club. This man needs to patent his energy and passion. What a refreshing guy – whose success speaks for itself . He...

Has anybody installed AP Racing brakes?

Rotors I am running Kyle's floating rotors up front on stock pads and I'm very pleased. A much better set-up than stock. Very progressive, with great feel to the pedal as well. Not too much track time on them yet - but have another event scheduled first week-end in April. As for AP - their...
