I spent Saturday and Sunday at COTA with the Mk II. Garaged with our very own Sanjay (DoctorV8) and his bad ass AMG GT3

Clint is a better caretaker for the Miura than I could ever be. He got 3102 and knows it’s history backwards and forwards. And I got a Mk II. A win/win situation.

What a piece of art! There is a misconception that this is off the Matech car. I can confirm that the above pic is the rear subframe off the Mk II.

Air jacks can’t be retrofitted as they are integral to the chassis. Would be hard or impossible to drill into the subframes or carbon tub and add them later. On the Mk II they are an option that I think most people will pick since they can’t be added later.

Air jacks are so cool. Got my air wand hooked up with a tank and regulator. Tire swaps are gonna be so much easier.

Yes, they have limited supplies themselves but are helping me out.

yes, they are sending me a filter. They are very responsive. Good guys. Oil change every 6 hrs of track time. I’ll be there after next weekend.

Finally have loading/unloading down. I have a JimGlo trailer. We removed the flip down aluminum ramp extensions and went with longer Race Ramps plus 8 foot long 2x10 boards. Also have some cheap carpets handy to keep diffusers and splitter from rubbing. You have to keep the ramps 56”...

A clean race car is a happy race car. The Expel PPF works great along with Mother’s R3 cleaner to remove the track rubber scuffs. If the car was street legal, I’d drive it to the next concours or cars and coffee 😂

I went to the track again yesterday. Did 3 more sessions on our long 3.1 mile course. Ran into some interesting company 😂 Herbie was there!
