Brilliant footage. Very well crafted. The camera appears to be a "Pathe" (pronounced Path A) - which I believe to be French. 16mm wind-up. I shot many thousands of feet of 16mm film back in the day and even used a "Pathe" (emphasis missing on the e) for some early motorsport footage.

Penske I'm running Penske's double adjustable and lowered about 1.7 inches - this made a tremendous difference to the handling. I'm careful on the street but it really not that bad or that much trouble.

Camera Kayvan's suggestion is a good one - I have a Lumix and it's the best bang for the (low end) buck. I've got and have used many SLR's and rangefinders over the years. (Nikons Canons, Leica's, Hassleblad) and I've still got them. They always seem to get in the way and take too much space...
