Fuel Delivery Module(fuel pumps, sender and pressure sensor)

What is the disc? Any pics of the assembly?

Fuel Delivery Module(fuel pumps, sender and pressure sensor)

It's 3 wires so I'm guessing it's a hall effect sensor. That said, it would have a moving part, the float. Also aligns with what GT101 said about a piece that fell off in the tank and bound it up. Is the disc the float, or rotated by a float?

Fuel Delivery Module(fuel pumps, sender and pressure sensor)

Gauge is stuck at low. He said a Ford tech diagnosed a bad sender. I told him I'd have to verify before pulling it because I suspect it's a gauge issue. Easy enough to check at the connector in passenger footwell. At least that's where the drawings look like it's at. He already installed...

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Instead of a pressure washer or sand blaster, it shoots dry ice that evaporates leaving dirt dust on the floor to sweep up. Yes, a special machine that can be spendy, $3-14K There are shops and mobile companies that do it.

Screwdriver/FDM retainer removal tool/prybar, 1/2 ratchet/hammer. I love multi use tools. Have you ever seen a bad sending unit?

    Stock GT suspension?

Add a lift kit? I think a kit was for sale not too long ago too. https://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/threads/kw-hls-adjustable-suspension.38907/#post-537803

Fuel Delivery Module(fuel pumps, sender and pressure sensor)

I came across 2 Ford tools to remove unit from tank, 310-065 and 310-075. Are either of these correct? If not I'll get rid of them.

    The New Mustang GTD

Yea, me too. I had a Falcon, Maverick, Tempo, Escort, Fiesta, Grenada and Taurus S/W. I passed on the Mustang II cause it was a pile.

    2005 oil pump drive belt

I've installed several Contitechs over the last couple years with no problem. One car has several track days and all is good.

    ISO: Bumper delete upper grille

Rich doesn't have any, I recently spoke to him about them. In a couple months I'll be making some for mine. If they're decent, I'll make a few sets. Does the grill actually need to be there anyways? It's there to keep people, and dry grass, from touching hot parts and deter critters from...

Looking for a low mileage GT

Yes, it has a charger pigtail. The small wires, and one of them has a fuse in it(the black box). Find the other end and maybe someone can ID what charger you'll need for it. Clicking from the battery is odd. There's a fuse/relay box under there on the driver side that could cause a sound like...

    The cost of replacement parts

For what it is, it's the most reasonably priced part you can buy from Ford for the 05/6's.

    Transmission cooler maintenance

Cheap insurance. Plus, there's probably some debris in the filter from new gears, dis/reassembly, hard use, and rags that should be cleaned, and some contaminates from assembly lubes and sealants that would be nice to get out. And, to verify it's working, or not, correctly by the amount of this...

    Mark IV

Both the red and blue cars have tape over what looks like a button. Is that a 'fire" button?

    Ford GT on the Autobahn

140 vs 200. Neither are necessary. 1000' at 140 in 5 sec, 3 sec at 200. Is 2 sec gonna save you? At night you'll have lights on as will others making you and them more visible than in daytime. He made several practice runs building up to that speed. Less cars on the road at night. Probably about...

    New Owner

Tracking the GT is a blast. I equate it to learning to ride a dirtbike on a CR500 though. It can be done but be careful!
