    Tire availability 2005/2006 GT

Meanwhile, the folks over at Bridgestone are still trying to figure out why they sell so damn many tires for the Enzo.

    Just rebuild it.

    Wheels

The GT utilizes an unusually large diameter rear tire.... so you need to think about this too. You mentioned a 345 width 18" tire but to get the diameter correct, you need a 345/40-18. Not sure you'll find a tire in that size.

    Tire availability 2005/2006 GT

The diameter of the 315/40-19 OEM Goodyear tire is 28.92". The diameter of the 345/35-19 Bridgestone tire is 28.51". That's a speedometer error of about 1.4%.... nothing to worry about.

    New Coilover Option

The lift in the background is the BendPak HD12SS. We purchased in 2006 when we started servicing GT's and it has been flawless. When we completed the construction of the new shop, we purchased the gray BendPak in the foreground. It is a current model - HD-9XW It has a 9000lb rating (plenty...

    New Coilover Option

I think everyone knows my position. I don't think this Chinese-made crap belongs on any GT. If an owner wants to do that, that's certainly their prerogative. As a shop that has worked on over 200 unique VIN GT's since 2006, it's safe to say that we would never lower ourselves to do this. It...

If we had Bony, this thread would have been killed 5 minutes after it started - and certainly before the first response.

    New Coilover Option

Ahh man! Please tell me it ain't so! There's owners literally lined up around the block who want to install this *shit* on their GT and now you are cutting us out? Why oh why? And you have so much margin in these - I thought you would share! Retail is ~$3600 for a full set and you're ONLY...

Gauges are going out - looking for recomendations

As others have already correctly stated, the ONLY gauges you would want to consider buying from a dealership are the tach and speedo. If you were to buy the smaller gauges from the dealership, they are the older (original) design and will likely fail over time. The small gauges with new...

    New Coilover Option

NOT in a good way, mind you. But just think of all the new friends you can make at the local cars and coffee. My God, a Ford GT on Chinese coil-overs and slammed! You'd be the HERO to every rice rocket around!

Oh, I think you can expect a pretty big difference in handling!

Gauges are going out - looking for recomendations

If a gauge will sometimes work after a re-start, it is NOT a bad gauge... it is a bad battery. Replace the battery and those gauges will be fine. Those gauges that don't function regardless of the amount of re-starts (aka, they never work) then the gauge itself is bad. You can get a...

    New Coilover Option

A picture from last week of the new shop we had to build to accommodate the hood strut business. Owners gotta leave their cars with us...installing these struts is not as simple as a Lambo 2WD conversion.

    New Coilover Option

Yeah, can you imagine how hard it is to maintain my lifestyle by selling only a few hood struts a month? Your colorful language and personal attacks say a lot about who you are. How impressive. Listen, I don't know how I can make this any clearer than I already have. All of the major...

    New Coilover Option

This is the second time you've accused me of saying something false.... What I'm saying... MADE IN CHINA - is true. Do some more research - it's not that hard. As long as we're on the topic of truth.... what's YOUR sole purpose? It seems to me that you just want to use this forum audience to...

    New Coilover Option

Typical of these companies, they intentionally do not make it easy to trace their heritage. The parent company may be Jiangsu Fortune Auto Technology Co., Ltd in China. Knowing that Taiwan may have a *slightly* better reputation for manufacturing quality, many of these companies will frequently...

    New Coilover Option

Yeah, you're right. I think boy-racer Honda Civic targeted, Chinese-made coil overs have no business on a Ford GT - and I would never install them on a car of this caliber. We do have standards. Lots of smart, successful people here and each can make their own decisions about the components...
