    Suspension rattle 2018 GT

Ugh! Seized nuts are the worst! Probably not telling you anything you already don't know, but I would try to apply heat to the nut in hopes that it will expand/loosen. Not sure of the accessibility you have, or the proximity of any kind of rubber bushings, but if possible I would try to use...

change oil in ford gt 2005

All is good. About 80-90% of the GT's we're doing, the gauge doesn't register. Our "routine" is to crank for 15-20 seconds. Stop. Then fire up and confirm immediate oil pressure. Very, very consistent.

change oil in ford gt 2005

I disagree.;) Your car ALWAYS primed... but the gauge just didn't register. Instant oil pressure after an oil/filter change is a sure sign of a good prime. We're averaging 3-4 oil changes per week. Our best practice is a 15-20 second crank followed by a start. Always get instant oil...

    Smog / drive cycle

We have a specific "loop" starting at our shop. It's about 15 miles. We can consistently get the GT monitors to all set withing this span.

    pulley recommendation

Yep, go with Torrie. Best mod ever for the GT. Just an added 100HP with absolutely no adverse issues. We just installed one a few days ago... maybe our 100th... well, maybe not that many but probably more than 50.

    Shocks

Rob, PM me and give me your VIN and I'll see what I can do. I just purchased some recently and I didn't have a problem... but admittedly the Ford anti-hoarding process is a challenge.

    Shocks

WIth all due respect - and 100% serious here.... they ARE made in China. Yes, they are ASSEMBLED in the USA. Just go look at their website. If they were made in the USA, don't you think that they'd proudly advertise this? They aren't, so they can't.... and so they don't. So you continue to...

    Shocks

If you install that cheap, made in China shit that Rich is selling on a Ford GT, I'll take you behind the barn and shoot you myself. The front OEM shocks are readily available (albeit not inexpensive) from Ford and manufactured by Multimatic - who just happen to know a thing or two about GT's...

    Shocks

When the OEM shocks fail, there is almost always a considerable amount of (shock) oil on the outside of the shock body.

2006 Driver Seat Elec. Harness Location

Hi Allen - here are a couple of pics. This car HAS the subwoofer option but I have to believe the non-Mac cars were wired very similarly. That's the wire with the white connector. You can see it Y's out of the subwoofer harness. The subwoofer harness runs forward on the passenger side of...

2006 Driver Seat Elec. Harness Location

It routes down the top passenger side of the center console as part of the subwoofer harness and pops out the back driver's side of the console under the center subwoofer. It has about an 18" pigtail there to give plenty of slack for the fore/aft movement of the seat. White plug and pigtail is...

As others have noted, the first step is to see what code the ECU has stored. Let us know what that is. The problem likely has nothing to do with the supercharger. Not sure if you have any rodent issues, but you could try removing the air cleaner assembly (a single 10mm bolt on each side of...

Master Cylinder for an 05 Ford GT!

Tom, if your friend is still in a bind, have him contact me. We can rebuild his master cylinder or swap him for one that has already been rebuilt. I'd be curious to chat with him about the symptoms to make sure we're going down the right path.
