Hi 2112, Yes of course. In particular I made a lot of bushings I wasn't ready to sell them years ago because I wanted to test them first, but I'm good now. Some people are already driving on them! I also have about 8 sets of hinges left and a few side view mirrors. I also had some extra convex...

I will probably track it once and then stick to street only because there are so many hard to find parts, It would be painful to have to fix it after putting all this effort into it. I have a vette for the track and I would call that more expendable.

Those may be the Maytech versions. Those didn't have the fog lights, but I want to keep them.

I like this front end better. I think this is more GT40 like for sure.

Here are some pictures of what the Hoffman body looks like with the panels loosely hung on the car. Keep in mind that the wheels that I have on the car are mustang wheels and about half the width of what will really go on the car. I haven't bought wheels yet, because I'm still waffling on the...

Great points! I Once I hung the widebody panels on the car, I really don't love the front end and would want to reshape that. That sounds like another summer to me. You can see in the picture on the left, whoever owns it now has put bigger wheels on it and maybe lowered it. Looks a lot better...

:ROFLMAO: The stock exhaust is just a placeholder because I had it. I am looking for some cross pipes for sure! Let me know if you know anyone? I'd love to trade for something. It just wasn't priority, but it is a must!

and finally catching up to now... So here is where I am today. Next I am going to paint the hood, doors, and body, so that I can get glass and door seals on the car. After that I am at a fork in the road. I WANT TO FINISH THE CAR THIS YEAR. To do that, It will probably be a faster path with...

And yet, even more continuation... Many 3D printed parts. Note that the door hinge parts and Accelerator pedal are printed in stainless steel, as I was trying out a new technology a the time. And I mentioned before that I built the car twice over. I wasn’t kidding. Once I had the car running...

Continued even more... A fully functioning Side view Mirror, since those are no longer available. I had to have the glass custom cut because of the unique shape of the GT Mirror. Made a few extra and have some extra mirror glass just in case! Hood hinges. Why you ask? It will cost you about...

Continued... The taillights were not available at the time, so I learned to make a two part mold and cast my own lenses. I designed a Circuit board to drive the Lights and 3D printed the housings and reflectors. They plug into the stock harness and look great. Since, Ford re-sourced these and...

Catch up on the Impossible GT Project

Hello all! Some of you may not remember me as I have not posted for a long time. I bought a body in white chassis from Ford almost 6 years ago with the intention of completely building a Ford GT widebody from the ground up. Some of you have asked what happened to the project and I'm sure many...
