15th Anniversary Ford GT Celebration at Carlisle Ford Nationals

Visit us for this fun-filled event, bring your NFGT or your ’05-’06 GT! As many of you already know I’m a big Ford GT fan and always enjoy hosting an area for owners to park their cars, this year being the 15th Anniversary for the ’05 we plan on doing a LOT more for the cars and owners. Below shares some of the details, come out and join us! Let’s have some fun…

Special Display, Activities and Fun!
2020 marks the 15th Anniversary of the 2005 Ford GT and we’re celebrating at Ford Nationals! We invite all GT Owners and Enthusiasts to come out for this historic gathering. Key features of the celebration are an indoor special display of GT’s and GT40’s, a Ford GT Owners Tent for all years of Ford GT owners, seminars & guest speakers, Ford GT track time, a road cruise through the scenic mountains and much more. Don’t miss this weekend of activities, fun, camaraderie and most of all, all things Ford.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Thursday:
9AM-5PM: Display Roll-In for Indoor Cars

Friday:
7AM-5PM: Displays Open
9AM-3PM: Ford GT Owners Tent Open
9AM-3PM: Ford GT Seminars and Special Guests
3PM: Ford GT Owners Parade around the Fairgrounds
3:30PM-5PM: Ford GT Road Tour in the mountains around Carlisle
5:30PM: Ford GT Owners Cruise-In/ Dinner at Local Restaurant

Saturday:
7AM-5PM: Displays Open
9AM-5PM: Ford GT Owners Tent Open
9AM-5PM: Ford GT Seminars and Special Guests
11:30AM-12PM: Ford GT Owners Autocross Track Time
6:30PM: Ford GT Owners Line-Up to lead Downtown Carlisle Ford Parade
7PM: Downtown Carlisle Ford Parade

Sunday:
9AM: Ford Nationals Winners List Posted
11AM: Ford Nationals Awards Parade
12PM: Displays Close and Roll-Out Begins

I did this back in 2015 and it was a blast and well worth it. I do not recall, maybe Lance will clarify, but we need to:
1) Register: 2020 Carlisle Ford Nationals Show & Shirt Package
2) Apply to the GT In-door OR tent Parking (Featured Vehicle Application)
3) Get hotel/accommodations as necessary

You will need to register your GT (the GT class will be in and around a large tent). The tent space will be limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Indoor parking will be available to special GT’s (GTX’s, race cars, one offs, etc.) - please fill out the online application if you’ve got something unique!

Grab a hotel room early, they fill up quickly for this event. Plenty of amazing Fords to look at the entire weekend. I’m traveling this week, we are hosting a show and auction down here in cold/windy FL.
