If its his he only ran a 12 and an 11 at best in vid if this is just a joke vid i say he goes back with the supercharger because the lag is insane.

Ever heard of sandbagging? Let me put it in perspective for ya. 03 Cobras with the same size twins on stock longblocks run in the mid 9's like clockwork. And still on the IRS. |

That definitely wasn't an all out effort. I'm sure it's a bitch to launch too. Even getting out of the gate very slow on the second run it ended up over 140. Probably good for over 150...

We got warned going through tech. I guess they had already heard about the car and they were not going to put up with anything. Learned a few things about the car which will help at a new track that doesnt know the car.
Sandbaggin? Oh yeah you can see the brake lights. The 11.7 run was a 2.4 60' if I remember right. |

If he runs to fast without rollcage and other safety equip he will get tossed from track. It appears that he wanted to run the car and maybe test a few things and not get the track officials pissed. The car can certainly go much faster.

I would love to see another 70-200 run against the turbo Kawasaki X1, although this time it will probably be a 70-140 run.

why not just put a 4 point rollbar or a rollcage in the car?

unfortunately i am 6.5 and actually fit comfortably in it but with a 4 point i dont think i could get in and /or still call it a streetcar.. to go grocery shopping in..
i think that is the line for me.. it has to be stock interior... ps. i do use a 4 point harness.. |
