I have a project I'm working on and I wonder If there are any Ford Gt transaxles for sale? I know you can get one from Ford, but I was wondering about other sources new or used.

Great picture of the flange and infamous axle bolts!

Another axle thread? We have enough, but this is a great picture of the area. Note the older soft silver washer.

Is it just me or does the washer look cupped & the bolts partially backed out?

That pic also shows the older hard-line transaxle cooler by-pass line that were only installed on the first couple of hundred cars. After that, they went to a flexible braided stainless by-pass.
