New Trailer

Hey Guys!
Decided a few months ago that I need a new trailer, did some homework on what I liked and disliked about haulers I'd seen over the years and this is what I came up with.
It's made by Mission Trailers out of Missoula Mt but is only sold through distributors. This one was delivered out of Lake Havasu City by "Haulinit" Features:
83" interior between the wheel wells
11" tri fold door/ramps
Torsion suspension
15" wheels (I pulled it 80+ mphfor over 400 miles, 4000lb interior load and no blow tires)
Mine has an interior of 65" but they will build any height
2050lbs empty
1500 winch
Dropped nose
LED lighting inside and out
finished interior
spare tire and jack box
tool and tie-down box
Interior box is 18' +tapered nose
Removable fender
Under $17,000

Nice piece of hardware! Curious, why not get one you can stand up in? Does the aero make that much difference?

Aero, weight, fits inside a 7' height garage door, nothing but motorcycles or sportscars are going in it. I also noticed guys with low profile Trailex trailers and their 3 door system spent very little time standing inside loading.

Fitting in a "normal" garage door. That's one I hadn't pondered. Ive drug taller vehicles, so wouldn't work for me.

VERY nice piece, really like the fender off, I'm a scrawny, and it still isn't easy going in and out the window of the GT. Only thing Id add, front to back e-track to enable the over the tire tie down method. I did that before rally what ever it was a few years, and was very happy I did.

Thanks for the info Steve..........I've been considering an upgrade to a Jimglo for some time now but this might be a viable alternative.

Yeah. Etrack is good no matter how you are tying down.

They do offer Etrack and have an option that can be added after the fact. I trailer a wide variety of wheel bases and have grown very comfortable with "D rings" and bar stops.

Brian, the '62 is close but not quite done. Interior is complete but not yet installed same goes for the roll bar. Motor needs to have the water pump and alt installed and I need to finish the brakes. Here's a few pics. For all the purest the car was a very nice low HP NOM or trans car so no blasphemy has been committed. The purpose for the build was to have a car that looked like a early 60's road racer but would go, stop and turn which this thing did not even when new.
