As some of you may remember, I posted a somewhat long-winded comparison of the 458 and the GT some time ago (I think it can still be found in the Media Section). Following that, I posted a tragic tale of an exuberant RX-8 driver who was kind enough to modify the body lines of said 458 in a way that I found particularly displeasing.

Well, the replacement arrived yesterday, and I'm happy to report that the body is still straight. I'd promise to do a comparison, but it would be boring at this point :) I will say, however, that Ferrari has developed the car nicely and that this one has significantly better build quality and transmission and ride refinement than my previous car. Now, I need to go for a drive. Where did I put those GT keys... :)underground phot.jpg

Congrats to one of my favorite automotive writers. That's a nice garage you have there too. Good place for an autocross.
 
Wow. Excellent choice. If I didn't have a red 458, I would have white . Actually too close to call. Congrats. Now , if you want to have the best of both worlds , get the McLaren Spider.
