Stormcat,

You are correct here. I don't have exact weight but Jason Heffner told me that Peak's center bolt wheels weigh more than the lightweight BBS factory wheels. Plus the weight of the hub adaptor. They look bitchin though.

Chip

Chip I agree 100% they are the coolest look for sure. I do not have as much HP as Ray so I am looking at lightest weight wheels that are not stratosphericly priced.

wide wheels

Why stick to the stock wheel width? My CC Wheels are 10.5" front width & 12.0" rear. Lot's of clearance left.

Ed

PS I don't know the offset but John at CCW would know. And they are very light!

I've used the wide CCWs on the road & track. They work great. The best part is wide wheels look killer!

Hey Stormy, another great project .... I am totally impressed with the carbon brake/lightweight wheel setup. :thumbsup What is keeping you from going to a single bolt system like Peak's?

That looks KILLER!!! I WANT! :bow

Anyone have any idea of cost for the wheels/rims, tires, and hub carriers etc?

Plus...what brakes are they?..and are they also needed as part of the conversion?

Cheers!

Contact Jason Heffner. He sells all of these goodies. The brakes shown are the Brembo Gran Turismo GT kit which is only for the front.

The center bolt system will work with any HRE or ADV1 three piece wheel as well as the ADV1 one piece wheels. The center bolt system adds about 2,800 to the cost of the wheel package. The brake upgrade is optional.

CCW tires

Stormcat - I'm running the Goodyear G-19 slicks in the photo. The front is a 25.5 x 10.5 - 18. They don't use the DOT sizing. I'm sure there are equivilant sized tires in a street tread.

For those who asked the rears wheels can be made in 12" wide. It will add 1 to 1.5 lbs total weight .. which is still about 20% lighter than the 10 spoke BBS wheel.
